The Department of Foreign Language Education at Necatibey Faculty of Education houses the Department of English Language Education.The Department offers thesis-based master's degree programs as a Foreign Language Education Department affiliated with the Institute of Social Sciences.Graduates who complete their undergraduate programs can work as English language teachers in public and private schools. Furthermore, if they meet the required qualifications, they can apply to graduate programs and continue their careers as academics. In addition to the education sector, they can work in fields such as tourism, translation, and the private sector.Graduates of the master's program can apply to doctoral programs.
Mission: Our department's mission is to foster the professional, academic, and personal development of undergraduate students. Our department aims to train conscientious and ethical English language teachers who are critical thinkers, able to apply the most up-to-date teaching principles and methods, and possess the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to teach English effectively.
Vision: Our department's goal is to train successful educators who can understand and interpret socio-cultural events unfolding in our country and around the world, and who uphold our historical and cultural values.
